No charges brought following gross negligence manslaughter investigation

Richardson Lissack was instructed by an individual who was employed as a Senior Manager in a Mental Health Nursing Team, who was responsible for the care of a patient who had sadly taken her own life. An investigation for gross negligence manslaughter was commenced against our client as a result of decisions made during the course of the patient’s care. Following strategic advice from our firm and pro-active representation throughout the course of the investigation, no further action was taken against our client.
