Richardson Lissack was instructed by an individual who was a Director of a company which had an annual turnover of £150 million. The client was the Director of a group of companies who had not filed its company accounts due to an oversight during restructuring of the group. Companies House proceeded to charge the Director who had responsibility for the filing of the accounts. Written representations were made on behalf of the client to Companies House who revisited their decision to prosecute and withdrew the charges against our client.
