Richardson Lissack recently represented Dr M before an Interim Orders Tribunal at the MPTS. The case is sensitive and high profile since the GMC allege Dr M to have been culpable in the death of a young mother who tragically died shortly after giving birth and suffering uterine inversion and postpartum haemorrhage. Despite that background, after proactive representation from the firm and counsel, the panel were satisfied that Dr M presented no current risk of harm to patients, and allowed him to continue to practice without restriction.
