Richardson Lissack is delighted to be once again listed as a Times Best Law Firm with recognition for our outstanding work within Financial Crime, Fraud and Regulatory.

Some of the highlights this year for Richardson Lissack have been as follows:

Instructions in a £330 million offshore debt case against HMRC.  HMRC appointed liquidators to recover monies from companies based in Jersey, Gibraltar, and Guernsey.  The case is currently proceeding in the High Court with allegations of civil fraud being defended.

Instructions in a bribery and corruption case linked to contracts for oil and gas in the Middle East with Far East Corporations.

Instructions in the Northampton Town Football Club investigation where allegations of bribery and corruption of a MP have been made.

Richardson Lissack recovered a significant sum of monies seized by Metropolitan Police, after a multi-organisation dawn raid on the business premises of a global import and export food company.  Richardson Lissack provided pro-active representation which led to the swift return of the cash, without the need to challenge the seizure at a court hearing.
