Richardson Lissack Recovers Frozen Funds from Major UK Bank

In separate representations, Richardson Lissack have acted on behalf of a specialist jeweller, an investment fund and a HNWI in successfully recovering funds frozen by the same major UK bank.

The action, in inhibiting the accounts and then freezing funds in excess of £750,000, arose following investigations by the bank’s fraud department. Drawing on its substantial experience in contentious financial services, matters Richardson Lissack’s Financial Services Regulatory team was able to demonstrate to the bank’s satisfaction the bona fides of all funds received and enable its clients to resume their respective business activities swiftly with minimal disruption to their business activities.
