FCA Financial Promotions and Enforcement Taskforce enquiry closed without action

Richardson Lissack represented a company which the Financial Conduct Authority believed to be in contravention of s19 FSMA 2000. 

Under section 19 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA 2000), a person cannot carry out regulated activities in the UK, or purport to do so, unless that person is authorised or exempt.

After an extensive enquiry Richardson Lissack has been able to bring the matter to a timely conclusion without any action taken.
